OpenZones are regions covering natural disaster zones where all the pro data in the app is freely available, for the period of the disaster. Meteorological organizations solve weather simulations and release data with the aim to reduce damage, injury and fatalities, hence we wish to support this purpose by making all app features and data (see Pro Version help page for more info), available to all users during a disaster.
Access OpenZone
When a new OpenZone is released, the OpenZone symbol ⓩ will automatically appear beside the place name for any location within the region while the OpenZone is active. This indicates that all app features and data are freely available for that location.
Share OpenZone
To share an OpenZone, click the ⓩ symbol next to the name, then click the share symbol in top-right of the popup box.
